How it works
One package. Three moving parts.
Most small businesses do not want to manage a website project, a hosting account, a security policy, and a freelancer diary. They want a good website that stays good. That is what this package is: a build, a monthly managed plan, and a flexible pool of time for everything else.
1. We build your website
Every engagement starts with a build. Choose the level that matches where your business is right now.
- Simple. A clean, fast, well-structured website that covers the essentials. Ideal if you need a credible presence online without complexity.
- Evolver. A flexible site designed to grow. More pages, richer content types, and room to add features as the business changes.
- Custom. Built around your specific requirements, from bespoke design through to integrations with the tools you already use.
Every build ships with a Sanity content management system, so you can edit your own content whenever you want to. You are never locked out of your own website.

2. We host it and securely manage it
Once your site is live, a monthly managed plan keeps the platform healthy. Every plan includes:
- Vercel hosting management and uptime monitoring.
- SSL monitoring and build-defect monitoring.
- Sanity CMS environment maintenance.
- One primary Sanity CMS editor seat, with extra seats available.
Worth being clear: the Basic Managed Plan covers the platform, not the work done on it. General query support, content updates, and development are not included at that tier. If you want people-time as well as platform care, choose a Growth plan or buy a pre-paid support pack.
3. We keep improving it, ongoing
Websites are never finished. As the business moves, the site needs to move with it. That ongoing work is covered by time you buy from us, in whichever shape suits you.
- A Growth plan. Retainer hours included every month, plus a priority support queue. Best if you have a steady flow of changes.
- Pre-paid support packs. Available on the Basic Managed Plan. Buy a block of hours up front and draw them down as work comes up. The bigger the pack, the lower the effective hourly rate.
Spend that time on whatever matters most: content changes, design tweaks, new pages, new features, UX, SEO, page speed, accessibility, integrations, consultancy, or fixes. There is no fixed menu. If it is work on your website, it counts.
Start with the platform. Add retainer hours when you want work done.
Managed plans
All prices exclude VAT and are billed monthly or annually in advance by Direct Debit or recurring invoice, as set out in your Statement of Work. Additional hours beyond a Growth retainer are charged at the Growth top-up rate of £75 per hour, minimum two hours. A Client-Managed (self-hosted) option is also available, where you retain direct control of your Vercel and Sanity accounts with no Agency monitoring or SLA coverage, and any work is billed at the External Hosting Rate.
On the Basic Managed Plan and do not want a monthly retainer? Buy hours in advance instead.
Pre-paid support packs
All prices exclude VAT. Packs are invoiced in full at the point of purchase and hours are drawn down in minimum increments of one hour. Unused hours expire at the end of the validity period.
Hourly rates and add-ons
For work outside an inclusive plan allowance, ad-hoc development, scoping, and consultancy.
Hourly rate card
- Standard rate, £110 per hour. Developer, UI/UX designer, CMS engineer, or digital producer time during business hours.
- Growth retainer top-up, £75 per hour. Discounted rate for Growth plan customers needing hours beyond their monthly allowance. Minimum two hours.
- External hosting / self-hosted, £165 per hour. All engineering, troubleshooting, or deployment work on client-managed infrastructure.
- Emergency out-of-hours, £165 per hour on Basic or £120 per hour on Growth. Urgent triage or defect work outside 09:00 to 17:00 UK time, or required within 48 hours without prior scheduling. Minimum two-hour call-out.
Infrastructure and add-ons
- Additional Sanity editor seats, £20 per seat per month. For content editors beyond the seat included in your tier.
- High-volume email package, £50 per month. Raises transactional form and email sending limits to 50,000 emails a month across multiple domain origins.
- Dedicated staging environment, £75 per month. An isolated staging instance with password protection and dedicated preview API connections.
- Reinstatement fee, £250. A one-off administrative charge to reactivate a service suspended because of an overdue account.
All rates exclude VAT and apply during business hours of 09:00 to 17:00 UK time unless stated otherwise.
How you actually work with us

At a glance

- Platform care. Basic Managed at £89 a month, or £789 a year with three months free.
- Care plus hours. Growth 3 at £195, Growth 8 at £569, or Growth 16 at £969 a month.
- No retainer? Pre-paid packs of 4, 8, or 16 hours from £105 down to £85 an hour.
- Requests. Sent by email, turned into tasks, worked through.
- Best for. Small businesses that want a proper website and none of the admin overhead.
Questions small businesses ask us
The build is a one-off project. Managed plans are billed monthly in advance, so you are not tied in for a year unless you choose the annual Basic plan, which is a 12-month fixed commitment in exchange for three months free.
Basic looks after the platform: hosting, monitoring, SSL, and your CMS environment. It does not include people-time. Growth plans add retainer hours each month plus a priority support queue, so content updates, development, UX, and consultancy are covered.
Stay on Basic Managed and buy a pre-paid support pack when you need one. Pack A is 4 hours at £420, Pack B is 8 hours at £760, and Pack C is 16 hours at £1,360. A Growth plan makes more sense once you have a steady flow of changes.
Pre-paid pack hours have a validity window: one month for Pack A, two months for Pack B, and three months for Pack C. Anything unused at the end of that window expires, so it is worth picking the pack size that matches your real pace of work.
Growth customers top up at a discounted £75 per hour, with a two-hour minimum. Standard work outside a plan allowance is £110 per hour. We will always tell you before a job takes you over.
Yes. Every build comes with Sanity CMS and one editor seat is included in your plan. Extra seats are £20 per seat per month. Plenty of clients handle their own copy changes and send us the bigger jobs.
Yes, through our Client-Managed option. You keep direct control of your Vercel and Sanity accounts and take on the associated responsibilities. There are no uptime guarantees, monitoring, or SLA coverage from us, and any work we do is billed at the External Hosting Rate of £165 per hour.
